Mandwa is a small sea front village only 45 minutes away via ferry from Mumbai. The easiest way to reach Mandwa is to hop on a ferry from Gateway of India, Colaba, Mumbai. Three different ferry companies operate from Gateway of India. Famous for it’s sandy golden beaches, scrumptious food & Water-Sport activities, Mandwa attracts lots of visitors during the weekends, Making it the perfect get-away for day trips & weekends from Mumbai City.

Mandwa jetty is used frequently for city commuters from Mumbai to reach their weekend holiday homes in Alibaug. Often overlooked due to lack of awareness Mandwa beach is far more luxurious than its neighbors. Travelers can easily spend an entire day or two exploring this sleepy town or wake up with some fast paced adrenaline pumping adventure sports activities.

Visit the RCF Jetty

The old RCF Jetty is the original Mandwa Jetty which is not used anymore, this makes a quiet & serene setting for a spaced out & relaxed evening.

Explore Mandwa Beach

There is surprisingly a lot to see on Mandwa beach, as you walk away from the jetty the beach get’s secluded & you find some nice rock formations in low tide. You can walk all the way to the next beach during low tide or join the fishermen or their ladies harvesting.
